another cheebye long post today hooommmmmiiessssss

during my rare moments of mugging juz now it dawned upon me that i will have very, very few trips to esplanade left. i will most likely stop breaking when mid august liddat or maybe earlier. i will most likely break once a week after bt2. so like go 6-7 times? then stop. prelims, As. after As, assuming i am suay i will get in december-jan? means will have like one month plus minus to break after As. not to mention that i will have shitload to revise and pick up after the exam period.
then go army. wtf. one yr plus NO BREAKING. unless when come out of camp go home dun sleep (which is impossible seeing all the ppl i noe just go home sleep when they come out). altho one gd pt is i live so near pasir ris interchange i can walk home and sleep straight away after the bus from tekong. so will more time to go break.
but most likely too tired and lazy to travel to esplanade.
so one yr plus no break.
after army, k, some time to break. spent on picking up after one yr plus of break-fast. wtf.
then go uni.
greater WTF.
from what i have seen of uni breakers it is damn tiring to maintain a good uni life while breaking. have seen larry doze off at esplanade. LOL. and weeter always complaining abt bust uni life. so, wtf.
which means the time when i can truly break, and not spent re-learning stuff, is the period after bt2 until august lidat, and the later part of post-army days.
summary: wtf.
now on to main part of post.

another post on breaking. this is like a reflection of my breaking days. the post on June 9 is abt the scene and culture. lol shd print the two and keep somewhere...
still rmb i started, seriously, around the time after Os. started off gg to bboy.org forums, looking at all the move tutorials...what "The Ultimate One Handed Airbaby Guide"... looking at the gallery.. all the kiddos posting their pictures "Checkout my new freeze!" hahahaaa. rmb the "Singapore Bboys Holla" thread in the Hook Up forum. felt excited that i was talking to real bboys in Singapore, what Hummer (Dominic LOL), bumblebee (Larry), and of course the ultimate actpro, talkcock cheebye lanjiao kia ultraman26 (still haven see him yet). rmb downloading "Breaking it Down" by Flying Steps as my first breaking clip. lol. downloaded loads of breakbeats too.

then started gg esplanade... saw all the pros, was like WTF. sat one corner watching..understand all the irritated looks they gave me (cos now i oso give them to wannabes hahaha)
then knew kok thru the forum, started breaking with him... became gd frens..
that time a lot of breakers, got Jack, the ultimate shen lao cheebye hahahaaa. was excited to know other Chinese breakers around my age, mostly peeps from Inertia.
hmmm..break break break.. started off learning some cock combos that i thought were pro... wad turtle to handstand to turtle and repeat... LOL

and started to think esplanade not gd for breaking cos of all the stress from pros, the smoke and noise from malays and the irritated looks given by the pros. the most memeorable look was given by victor hahahaaaa can tell obciously he dosnt like the new wave of teenage chinese breakers..

so started to find other place to break..really tour singapore to break loh..
at first was Power Building behind Youth Park... floor damn nice, and quiet.. but sometimes the security guard come kao bei and the whole night wasted..cannot break.. and when thirsty need to walk long way to 7 11 at somerset mrt there to buy drinks...

then started gg orchard mrt (outside popular) to break... saw Definition and Retribution (no longer this name).. was like WTF they r as smooth as a cheebye. the floor quite lousy, space quite small, and mrt staff can kb. will always come up and threaten call police (which they will sometimes really do), so we have to pack up, walk around orchard and go back (sometimes to get chased a second time).

then went bedok. LOL outside the library. hahaaa the floor like fuck. and all the uncles and aunties in the nearby hdb flats and kopitiam keep on looking. even got challenged by Euthanasia Crew before hahahaaaaa
sometimes also go Woodlands HDB dome and studio at NTU (BoonLay!!!) to break... seriously around singapore..

in the end decided esplanade is da best... and when we went back our skills had improved.. behold THE TEAPOT KING hahahaaaaaaa and because i had shed the newbie skin the 'pros' started warming up to us... cos we go back suddenly like become pro, and do stuff and get props, so that started the mixing around.
at first was like "wtf the pros talking to me" then "wtf they asking me to teach them"
then i realized at esplanade, everyone is a student and a teacher at the same time. thats the CHIONESS of breaking

FTC, EG, even the malays all became damn nice. break together, joke together. so sometimes i still wonder how come inertia still dun like break at espalanade. haha but to each his own.
tho sometimes i still want go break at studio at ntu... thats for undergrounding for basics.. esplanade is more suitable for more advanced stuff..
many ppl wuld be suprised that i have suffered no major injuries doing this apparently dangerous thing. only got whole patch of skin @ elbow there tearing off, and bruises here and there. tho i feel my right wrist is disintegrating slowly.

the days spent breaking, be it at esplanade or anywhere else, has taught me alot. be it social skills, the knowledge that all police think breakers are low educated punks, a knowledge of singapore's Nighttime street life, or just plain determination to do wad you like regardless of your progress, people's opinion and physical pain, this one year or so has been hell of a ride. have seen crews break up, battle each other, talk shit, act lan, or be role models for all the rest of SG breakers. have received cheers from angmo tourists walking past =D have received free lunch from christian group ppl cos i taught them some moves =D have been taken down NRIC number by police because we were nearby BMXers who biked in esplanade (prohibited). have seen breakers fighting skinheads. have seen good, and bad, battling attitude and judging at jams. have been asked number by girls during breaking =D have breaked (broken? grammar hahaaa) in the rain (like you got served hahaaaaa) still got numerous dian dian di di lazy to type out.

sometimes i do really respect breakers, be it chinese malay lousy or bad. yes, even skillet. but maybe not jack hahahaaaaa.. but they really r dope. as described by somebody on bbw, we receive nothing from breaking unless u pursue a career in it, which is fuck in singapore. well, maybe props given by schoolmates when u act cool around at school events, and chiobu asking u number when u act cool around at any venue where a chiobu is present. tho not chio one oso come hahaaa.. but we seriously get nothing from this, when we endure injuries and risk permanent damage, and suffer negative objections from school people and family. all for a move well learnt, a beat well killed and a prop well gotten hahaaaaa

so, summary: respect us you cheebyenehnehtous and stop thinking we are out to act cool and get all the chiobus numbers..haha altho sometimes really lidat hahaaaa
