there was a slash fight in the esplanade underpass yesterday. it really removes all inklings of singapore as sucha a safe society after watching yesterday's events.
can you imagine watching around 4-5 fellow bboys getting attacked by over 20 KIDS, each definitely not over the age of 18, with around 4-5 parangs being wielded in their midst. can you imagine watching a fellow bboy getting surrounded by 5-6 of these kids, getting kicked in the face, falling to the floor, and getting hacked at by a parang on his bare body, all of these happenind just around 5 metres away from you? and please note the kid who hacked him with the parang cannot be over the age of 16.
can you imagine another fellow bboy getting slashed on his thigh outside the adidas shop in citylink mall, in front of such a crowd? can you imagine all of these happened on a crowded saturday night in a populated area like citylink and esplanade?
damn gay. will never forget the attacks i saw with my own eyes, and myself running around the city hall area trying to find where the police car and ambulance will be stopping, and the location of 2 bboys of which we had no idea of their fate and injuries sustained, if any.
though this is not my first time witnessing such gaping wounds and so much spilled blood, but it definitely is the first time witnessing such an attack delivered to a person you know, right in front of you

i am in love with a girl i saw last night in the club when the lights were dim and the darkness playing illusions. in the darkness she was the most beautiful thing on earth.
but there must be something wrong with the light, because after they turned it on i couldnt find her anywhere at all. there was a girl wearing the exact same clothes as her, but she was rather of inferior quality.
tell me, must i live in darkness, and drink one jug of whiskey mixer, so that i can find her again

a local malay radio station was having a promotion; the first 100 listeners to reach Orchard Cineleisure on this particular day were to receive a free handphone, no questions asked, no prerequisites necessary.
as such, the station DJ announced on air, "first 100 listeners to come Cine on this day will get one handphone for free!"
on the day, no one turned up at Cineleisure. thousands thronged the station at Caldecott Hill. Why?

THIS SONG IS FUCKING AMAZING
Eve, The Apple of My Eye
You left it, I sent it I want it back You left it, I sent it I want it back
If I had you here, I'd clip your wings Snap you up and leave you sprawling on my pin This plan of mine is oh so very lame Can't you see the grass is greener where it rains
You left, I died, I went and you cried You came, I think But I never really know I've served my time I've watched you climb The wrong incline But what do I know
Accept it, Don't let it Turn the screw Accept it, And let it Scream back at you
Now this applies both equally to you and I The only thing we share Is the same sky These empty metaphors They're all in vain Like can't you see the grass is greener where it rains
In the garden Snake was a charmin' And Eve said let's give it a try Now lead us not into temptation But no matter how hard I try When in the garden and Snake is a charmin' And Eve says let's give it a try Eve is the apple of my eye
And I lie behind you And I cradle you in the palm of me And I pat your hair down I think will we sink or swim? 'Cause we could do either on a whim

butterfactory is becoming more and more gd stuff. hahaha. or maybe just because last night was exceptionally gd stuff. hahaha. nt that i want any NSFs to chance upon this entry and invoke massive herd behavior in butterfactory and attract all the botak packs of wolves. yes, you read that right, here there are no relentless botak guys scouring the blighted lands to fulfill their needs as a grinding machine
in fact, the scene is very opposite to what you get in NSF habitats like zouk and MOS. in these places, any one decent-looking girl is constantly surrounded by a entire pack of guys, all turned towards her, edging towards her, their eyes, be it a direct face-to-face look or a desperate side-ways stare, fixed unceasingly on said girl.
well that is surely not the case here. you get angmoh model types automatically coming up to you on the podium and grinding you; and what i mean by grinding is not the typical act-subtle and act-decent grinding displayed by NSFs; theirs involve reaching down and touching of their toes (hurray for the space) to allow prominent jutting out of firm bottoms and rhythmic contact with your magic area
and yesterday i was like standing around at artbar drinking my one entire pitcher of free drink (will come to this later) and just watching dharni doing his stuff when there was like these group of 3 girls and a guy that came up onto the podium beside me and started dancing. and it was damn obvious, could see from the corner of my eye that they were edging this one girl towards me; and while there were only like 6 ppl on the podium, she was doing her accidental elbowing and brushing of arms. was not really in the mood, so i just ignored her. then she was like hey are you dancing? then i said not really, having my drink. then she said oh when you finish your drink you can either get off the stage if ure not dancing, otherwise you would have to dance with me. hahahahaa. and she was not bad looking. i bet this is a siren song for all the NSFs out there la
and the thing is, you get music like You Give Love A Bad Name and Sweet Child O' Mine too. have nothing against mambo, but really, there will be no lame hand gesturing and lyric-following, literal arm movements here. come on, if you're just standing around stationary (you might say theres not enough space, then in this case i say whats the point of a club that dosnt have enough space for you to even dance) and doing lame paraparaesque hand movements whats the point? here you get real dancing, real partying, real crowd interaction displayed by the DJ. really fun. music in main room last night was electro/rock, not my usual fare, but i actually enjoyed it more than the usual hiphop stuff in artbar. the crowd in main room was really dope
and yeah the free drinks. perhaps due to my long absence from butterfactory (3 weeks HAHAHAHAA)i forgot the power of the free drink there, so i was like drinking a 7-11-bought tiger just before going into the club. about 15 min inside dharni produced a jug of vodka mixer for us. after a while the boss bumped into us and gave us another pitcher. later on we were each given a glass of asahi. hahaa total madness
and oh ya, the entire band of Click Five was also reportedly spotted last night.....
