i really do believe that we have two branches of ambition residing in every single one of us. one branch consists of all the big dreams of a career zenith, an armada of luxury cars and whatever not.
for me, the other branch is predominant in me.
i just desire spending a tranquil normal life in a cosy home with enough space and rooms to allow me to exercise my flair and interest in interior design. There shall be a fusion of newage-contemporary, Victorian and Chinese styles.
The zhong dian shall be a private library and reading space for me. my top most life desire. imagine a room with tall wooden bookcases filled with a full range of books reflecting my varied interest, everything from philosophy and history and religion to modern novels. There shall be a cosy reading table and couch with a reading light in one corner. this is shall be where i shall spend the rest of my life reading every single book i ever wanted to read and then some. which if u think about my vast interests will surely need myself to have 3 lifespans.
the room shall also have a audiophile-approved sound system to play everything from chopin to miles davis to opeth, for the best accompaniment during my introverted reading moments
Just next to the room shall be a wine collection, for easy access to drinks during those solitary reading sessions. song.
then there shall be a small room to display a small art collection, everything from oil paintings to chinese shan1 shui3 hua4.
well anw Serene Lim Xin Hui has expressed her innermost wish to just nua at home and play mahjong and act tai-tai. which is well similar to my above desire. but put together, it means either we will die of hunger cos no one is working, or we have to accumulate lots of money fast and earn a sexy passive income by tapping on the power of the time value of money as demonstrated by course AB102 Finacial Management taught by course coordinator Lee Hon Sing.
that comes to a conclusion. to realize big dreams u must slog hard. to live a simple life you must slog harder
