having one of the most painful sore throats ive ever had in my entire life, if not the most painful. cant even talk properly, and every swallow of mere saliva feels like im swallowing broken glass down my throat. dunoo wad caused this, must be all the pan-fried oily bacon and ham and cheese and egg and corono beers and red wines, and the dry climate. super pain. cant even eat a full proper meal. my stomach is protesting but my throat won;t give in. a hungry man is an angry man. a hungry man who cant go to the gym is a fucking angry man. a hungry man who cant go to the gym and can't kiss his gf is a ccb fucking angry man indeed

have been eating loads and loads of good local food before i fly!
last saturday ate my favourite Hougang Jing Jia Mixed Mutton Soup.
last sunday ate some very very delicious prata at some shop near TPJC. had cheese prata, egg prata and kosong. godlike.
last monday had some very very delicious kway chap at bishan. really damn nice.
for today ate 2 plates of maxwell chicken rice. too good to settle for one plate. after which had some very nice PRIME SIRLION at Astons Specialties at Katong for dinner. although i am indeed going to a western country, i am indeed afraid that i am unable to get souch delicious steak at such affordable prices for 5 months.
4 more days! eat eat eat!

rather long time since i blogged. dunno whether there are still even people who come here to check for updates. if you are one of those, i really appreciate that!
well, its exactly one more week before i make my flight to Montreal for my exchange studies. it would definitely be an exciting period of my life, being immersed in a whole new environment. it would also be a new trial for me and xinhui as we would see each other 24/7, while dealing with the challenges posed in a foreign country.
but i really cant wait. travel has always been a passion of mine. although canada is not one the top few places i most desire to visit, being in a new place and seeing new things, meeting new people and exploring the world just makes the deal for me.
one more week in singapore. i will only be gone for about 5 months, but it would be the first time i spend such a long period of time overseas. so exciting!
